Were would I use RUSTSEAL?
Shieldcoat's RUSTSEAL is designed to go over Zincalume, Colorbond, mild, cast, wrought iron, galvanized and pre-primed steel. Are your valley’s or gutters rusted then RUSTSEAL is what you need to apply prior to applying any other sealer or roof paint. Make sure surface is dry, clean and as free form dirt, grease and detergents. Remove all loose flaking or scaling rust, there is no need to remove light or spot rust. RUSTSEAL is the preparation coating you need for your rusty surface to ready it for your finished coating that you choose, like ROOFBOND Roof Paint or THERMOBOND Heat Reflective Coating .

Yes, after 7 days from applying the last coat of Shieldcoat’s ROOFBOND Roofing paint (all colours) or Shieldcoat’s THERMOBOND Heat Reflective Coating it is safe to collect drinking water.

Yes you can use a roller and brush to apply RUSTSEAL, however if you are having to cover a large area you can apply it with spray gun, as you get far superior finish due to being able to evenly apply the coating. If you don't own a spray gun you can either buy one on this website see the 'Spray Equipment' category on the left of this page or you can hire them from your local hire company.
